Admission Procedures: Local Students
(Singaporean/Permanent Residents/Foreigners holding Employment or Dependent Pass only)
First Media Design School (FMDS) reserves the right to refuse admission to students who do not meet the minimum academic requirements. FMDS also reserves the right to revise the admission requirements for local students, in compliance with the Council for Private Education (CPE), Singapore’s Edutrust Scheme.
Successful applicant enrolled into FMDS programme will be forwarded with a standard Student’s Contract in accordance with the Edutrust Scheme.
Applicant without prior engagement in design but has strong interest in arts, music, and enjoys the usage of design software is likely to excel with little difficulty.
Knowing where your career interest lies
• You should ascertain the design programme that excites you and work towards applying for it.
• It is good to have a strong interest for design and possibly some prior exposure, in school or on a personal level, in design and/or art forms. This art and/or design orientation will help you to cope with your load throughout the study period.
