This module is crafted to arm participants with industry proven design generation techniques commonly practised today. Apart from idea generation techniques, participants will also learn industry standard design processes to enhance work efficiency and to have a better grasp of day to day operations of a design studio.
At the end of the module, learners will be proficient to manage an effective brainstorming session through the right deployment of correct techniques to generate effective ideas in the workplace.
Apply Design Thinking into Digital Marketing and delve into the world of Digital Psychology. Explore uses for Design Thinking skewed towards exploring personas, emotive connections, digital problem solving, basic copywriting and A/B testing.
Uncover industry practising knowledge such as Social Media lingo, how emotions function and marketing baits.
Crafted for individuals who have an understanding of Digital Marketing to bring them one step further.
This programme will guide participants through the use of Adobe Photoshop and its uses in developing 2D visuals for marketing and advertising purposes. Through numerous exercises, participants will get hands-on experience with Adobe Photoshop and its functions. At the end of the module, learners are required to conceptualise and execute a series of creative marketing collaterals as part of a promotional campaign.
In this module, you will learn the fundamentals to shoot and edit short clips and images. Some of the things you will learn include art direction theory, image depth-of-field, image composition, film planning and many more. This module will be conducted via indoor and outdoor shooting activities and group projects.
Through the use of packaging design techniques as a teaching platform, participants will be able to transfer their knowledge onto various mediums such as posters, web-based collaterals and many more. Participants will learn the use of Adobe Illustrator and its various applications in real-world projects. This module also teaches the theory and fundamentals behind the effective design and its uses in today’s business environment.
At the end of the module. learners will execute a final project covering a visual identity system and packaging rebranding exercise.
In this digital age, learn how to grow your brand presence through Google, Facebook and Instagram.
Learners can develop a multi-channel integrated marketing communication campaign that covers the study of digital strategy through the strategic use of content creation, social media marketing and campaign management to effectively roll out a streamlined and coherent communication strategy.
At the end of the course, you will learn how to use launch an advertising campaign through Google Ads, Facebook Ads and Website Headlines.
This programme will introduce learners to user interface design by understanding the psychology behind effective user experience on platforms such as mobile applications and websites. From sketching their initial wireframes to actual prototyping on Adobe XD, trainees will be designing their own web pages or mobile applications with the incorporation of UX best practices.
Learners will break down and re-evaluate apps or websites that are currently out in the market and to incorporate their own unique variation to the overall usability and intuitiveness of the design.
Ideal for those looking to enter the UI/UX industry, this programme serves as an introduction into the psychology behind how application and website user navigation flows are designed, and how user experience is enhanced through various testing methods and design selection.
This module is structured in such a way that is suitable for learners without any technical knowledge to design and build a friendly and functional website. Emphasis is rooted in design aesthetics, functionality and navigation friendliness.
Learners will be proficient to execute a simple interactive website for self-promotion or to market a product or service. Throughout the programme, you will be undergoing the entire web development process from mockup to hosting and launch.
Students will take on the role of a Digital Designer in efforts of re-branding a business/product/service of their choice. Students would have to develop a full brand book with a new logo, marketing collateral, data analysis report and more. Students would then have to present their work to a panel of academic assessors to determine their grade.
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Minimum Qualifications: 5 GCE “N” Levels passes with a minimum C6 in English
