Handbag design is one of the fast growing areas in fashion. This course introduces students to the creative and practical aspects of putting together a range of bags, with coordinating purses or wallets, for a particular customer.

Pattern Making and Sewing - more info
The Patternmaking short course is designed to give students the skills to create patterns in a range of different styles to fit various sizes.

Students will learn how to create standard “block patterns” and manipulate them to specific size and measurements. The Sewing short course in incorporated to help students produce professionally fitted garments and teach them the “tricks of the trade” to creating beautifully finished garments.

The accessories design short course covers the basic skills of designing, threading, knotting, fitting crimps and finishing and allows participants to develop and make their own style of work, to take home.
